Area of application
For removing mould, algae, mildew stains and bacteria from various substrates.
Preparation
Can be used on all mineral substrates such as plaster, concrete, ceramic tiles, bricks and emulsion paint coats.
Processing
Spray the mould-infested surface with mould remover from a distance of approx. 15 - 20 cm. After a contact time of approx. 30 minutes, wipe the treated surface with a damp cloth. Repeat the process in the case of very heavy infestation. To protect the cleaned surfaces from renewed mould infestation in the long term, a follow-up treatment with baufan Protective Impregnation or baufan Protective Paint can be applied after three days. A slight smell of chlorine develops during application, which can last for up to 3 days and can be reduced by sufficient ventilation or airing the treated room. Sensitive and coloured surfaces such as wallpaper, carpets, textiles, clothing, wood and metals can be discoloured on the surface. Discolouration may also occur on damaged tiles. Protect surfaces not to be treated from spray mist and splashes. Accidental splashes should be removed immediately with water.
Consumption
approx. 50 - 100 ml/m²
